8 Days to Kunming, Dali and Lijiang on a 19 seater bus for the 4 of us is a luxury, we could even sleep on the mini bus.All in cost CNY4800 Twin Sharing per person, a fair price (without lunch or dinner) as we prefer to choose our own food (normally tour food is not too great).
It happened again. The tour guide hustle us by charging us CNY248 for 4 dishes of simple food (which should be around CNY100 at the most)at the road side but when they (tour guide and driver) realised that I am going to make a official complaint to the tour company (these tour guides and driver are normally freelance), they atone for their greed by not taking their tips and thats fair, so, I didn't make any official complaint.
Lijiang is 2400 metres above sea level, and air is slightly thin and when you go up to the Glazier at the top of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, it is 4800 metres and you'll need to be reasonably healthy.
The airfare with China Eastern is S$447 and the tour is 4800cny.
One thing great about this tour company is that you don't have to pay upfront.
