I see what Len means. The yellow in this one is great, but I prefer the white petals in the other one... It still is a nice picture!

I guess I'm weird - I like this one better. I actually like the way the petals lighten to almost a featureless white until the color of the center jumps out. To me, this is a much 'purer' image than the darker one, like pure white snow. Maybe it's just a touch of Malevich in me. :-)
