The large female feeds on a dragonfly caught in her web,
while the tiny male waits for his only purpose in life.
The egg sac will survive the winter and the cycle will begin again.
I laid in the grass and put my removable column tripod
through its paces to get this shot just after sunset.
Developed in Lightroom and Shadow-Highlight and Smart-Sharpen in Photoshop.
