I like the comp and angle too, although Dawn has a point...you've lost a little detail in the pulp of the fruit...but easily remedied!

nice composition Val. I really like the angle. I think the actual fruit is a tiny bit too bright--you could quickly fix this with a slight curve adjustment (just pull the center down a wee bit), fill the mask with black, and then paint the fruit area back in with a white brush.
