Metallic Ice

Illuminated by a very low sun angle from the left, these ice crystals formed, due to evaporative cooling
of 35-degree air, in a puddle of icemelt, on the top of thin ice, over the green water of a local lake.

Steve, this is really *sweet* (said in my best young-hip-voice* LOL! seriously, at first i thought you'd gone photoshop on us... then afrer i read the description i had to pick my jaw up off the keyboard. great job!
