I didn't see this image with the "distracting background" but it looks fantatstic now! Such clarity on the subject yet great blurred background (bokeh).

Great work creating this new and uniformed background! Janet

This is much nicer without the distracting background. I remember a photo class I had one time where the instructor really stressed making sure you watch out for things that grow out of people's heads. By removing his 'extra' growths, you've brought the focus clearly to your subject and as a result, it now makes a wonderful portrait.

Lovely lighting on the subject, and a nice pose.

Although the background is a bit distracting, the portrait is superb - full of detail and character.

Lovely detail and lighting.. yes, you should try to remove the spider (light) in the back..

Rod this portrait of Don is terrific, detailed with great expression, I do however find the light fixture at the back of his head very distracting. Jess.
