This is the Sentimental Journey, a B-17G that is owned by the CAF and based at Falcon Field in Mesa, Arizona. It was built in Nov. 1944 and used as a recon plane in the Pacific Theatre during WWII. After it was retired from service, it was rebuilt and turrets and systems were added to make it a true "Flying Fortress." It was feaured in the movies, All The Fine Young Men and 1941. The nose art is Betty Grable. This picture was taken at the Goodyear Airshow in Arizona.
