Peacefully Gliding
by Jim Thode

Washington State, USA

The camera was on a tripod and the tripod set in the canoe. Paddle like crazy (without splashing water on the camera) to get up to speed, then stop paddling, sit very still (don't rock the boat), open the shutter and g l i d e.....

other sizes: small medium original auto

Nice shot but you are bolder than I, taking your camera on a wobbly canoe.

Stunning image Jim, great interpretation with the blur only in the background and the canoe in focus. Terrific photo.

My stomach was my first thought, but after a few moments this is very cool. I'd be afraid to take my camera in a small boat! Kathie
