I'm still wondering what you really look like.

Very cool Mike. Just one question; how are you um... holding the camera there?
Linda K 12-Jul-2006 07:30
Nicely done!

Excellent job. While it may have not been what you intended you recognized it was good and I'm glad you put it up. There is enough there, and enough not there that it makes you wonder and look more.

At first I wasn't sure how I felt about this besides the fact that it's very creative and imaginative. However, this photo draws you in and makes you wonder more about the person. Very well done.

This is a wonderful photograh. It portrays the beauty of the human form in a way that transcends the erotic nature of the photo's we usually see. I love the fact that the image subject could have been male or female and the image would have been no less stunning.

I like it alot. It's very sensuous in a way, but also very compelling. Good job!

Here we have the edge between real & surreal. This is photography as art, in my book.

I agree Mike...there's something almost angelic, like the Archangel...it reminds me of wings :)

Tam,
Yes, it is a ceiling fan in the background. I had tried cloning it out but ended up kind of liking the "abstractness" that it seems to add to the image. Thanks :)

Agreed, it's very well processed - I like the lighting and the grain. Just curious, what is it above you, is that a ceiling fan?
CJ Morgan11-Jul-2006 04:45
Very, very well done Mike. This seems to me one of your
best images because it just so much sitting right on the fence
between recognizable object and purely abstract graphics.
And as we look back over the history of our own personal
image making, we might well discover a pattern where some
of our images which communicate best didn't so much come
from the illusive hunt of trying to "find" a good image, but rather
from sometimes very simple setup and construction of images
which we quite deliberately "made". This image seems to me
a good case in point, and my guess is that years from now, you'll
look back on this image and think, "Oh yeah, that was a good one."
