The texture on the bag and wooden background make this black & white.

nice contrast.. this photo is more for a general practioner ..
Well it depends what the make up artist will do with the cover..
any reason for this particular backdrop??

Dawn, Nice detail and good B&W conversion. I think one problem you may have is for a book cover, you probably need a vertical format.
