I used my 70-200mm f/4L with the Tamron 1.4x TC attached. It was difficult to get this guy because he was very fast and very elusive. Constantly on the move.

I like this one. The area of blown white is really small and probably looks better than we would see if the sparkle were lost through less exposure. Chasing little things that only lite for a second and getting a good angle can be a real challenge. Well done.

I don't know if I would hav used the 1.4 attached on such a lense for this type of photo.. I think you would have gotten better results without it..
The main focus point I see is on the flowers tip .. the whites are really washed out..
Somtimes a littl more contras will make it look sharper..
But I must sat say though it's a good try and I'm sure you got experience from it..
I am happy that you posted it..

Great detail on the butterfly's head. I see from the exif that you had WB set to -1? This wouldn't help bring out detail in the wing.
