Even though I live in New Jersey now, once a New Yorker, always a New Yawker. New York City is many things but one thing it is noted for is its beloved baseball team, The Yankees. (There's also the Mets, but let's not go there...)

This is from Opening Day against the diabolical archrivals, Boston Red Sox. Here you see the iconic Yankee, Derek Jeter, swinging at a pitch delivered from David Embree. Despite this swinging strike, the Yanks beat the Sox by a score of 9-2.

If you didn't know the teams &/or players involved, this could be practically "Anytown USA" during baseball season.
