Today was the program at a county park for local rehabbers of injured animals. This owl was a nestling when his tree was cut down 8 weeks ago. Since he has no idea that he is an owl, he will never be able to be released into the wild but he does well with people at educational programs.
The photo is available light, handheld under fluorescent tubes. That lovely background is a roll of paper towels on a wood holder in the nature center classroom. The right side is an unreduced crop section so you can see the noise.
