Actually, I found myself thinking the same thing. As a young wedding photographer, I remember wearing a suit to each wedding I worked. In retrospect, it as a bit too much, or, at least considering the work, made as much practical sense as wearing a suit to some aerobics workout class (because, well, you know, wedding photographing can have you sweating at times). Nevertheless, between wearing a full suit and wearing just jeans, one might hope some middle ground could be found for photographing what it, in many cases, a formal occasion.
