There's a story in this shot. Very well done. Contrast, texture, color, motion, composition. All work.

Rod, All 4 of your best are phenominal. But this one has to be my choice. Everything about it is great; the textures the colors, the composition, the lighting, I love it all.

wow - looks like he is walking into the belly of the earth. definitely other worldly.

The processing, and the shadow win the day for this one.

Love all four of your shots, but this is my pick. Great use of HDR - so well done!

I like the way you used HDR for this picture. I love the play of light in this image and the shadow of the man is just perfect. My pick of the four.

It's a really difficult choice for me between this one and the last one which I also love every time I see it. However, everything about this image is beautiful. The composition, colors and processing all work perfectly.

I thought this was fantastic when you first showed us, I'm glad it appears here in your Best Of.
Great shot!

I'm not a fan of HDR, but the composition and light/shadows you captured here makes this my fav of your 4.

Looks like he's walking in the palm of some giant's hand. My favorite of the four.

I've always liked this from the first time you showed it to the group. My fav of your 4.

My favorite for sure, it's a most original image. One of the things that strike me the most is how, despite there not being an awful lot showing, one gets a sense of it being a really large space.

The processing is also great, enough to bring out the texture in the rocks, but not too much to be overbearing. Kudos, Rod!

My fav of your 4 for the color coordination between the guy and the surroundings. The pelicans was a close 2nd but looked over-sharpened to me.

I don't care for the treatment, but I do like the shot.
