ouch indeed. Hope they all came out and no infection ensued! My dog did this--had quills inside her mouth and everything. Miserable!

Never occurred to me that horse might get the wrong end of a porcupine. One of my childhood dogs came home once with a face full. After that she came home with dead porcupines (she figured out that the quills were only on top).
