27-APR-2009 Rod Rees

Slot Canyon
by Rod Rees

(HDR)
I replaced the original version with this one with a lot of dodge & burn on the left side to correct the flatness from HDR processing (thanks, Joe).

Fantastic image! I like the treatment and how it enhanced the colour and texture.

This is a fabulous image, Rod. Unreal, yet real. Great job.

This is fabulous Rod--I love all the texture and the shadows, and your guy is just at the right spot.
ifotog10-May-2009 02:33
I really like it. Doesn't look real but the guy and his shadow are all the image need for impact.
Joe Lasker10-May-2009 02:22
Good light on the guy, and his shadow is a cool look. But The rest of the image in HDR makes it look too "flat" to me, you lose the visual depth when you make the shadows less visual.

Nice shot Rod, interesting figure.
