September 21

We had a photo essay assignment on vantage points where we had to shoot in one location. I chose a parking garage and worked on it over a couple of days. This is the top of the View Street Parkade. I am terrible at B&W. I can't wait till we're allowed to shoot digital and I can stop playing with toxic chemicals. Also, pardon the dust. My scanner doesn't have dust removal.

Hello Christina, this is an interesting shot, I like the curves and view point. Working to an assignment must be tricky, as for using B+W ! thats an art form that not many get right and I avoid.Well done.

dust? what dust? the two specs at the top? lol. personally, i think a little bit of dust adds character, but that's just me. :) my scanner doesn't have Digital ICE either, but i also think that cleaning up dust and scratches by hand produces higher quality results that don't cause a loss of fine-detail.
