Although I photographed this female at my home in New Jersey, I actually found her in downtown Harrisburg, PA, about 4 blocks from the Susquehanna River, at about 7:20 PM on October 7th. She was on the sidewalk, alive but injured, with a broken costal vein and a dent on the right side of her thorax, probably from an encounter with a car.
