This is the bridge linking the headquarters area of La Selva with the laboratory area and adjacent Protected Zone to the south. Every trip we took down the trails started with a walk across this well-built but bouncy suspension bridge. During the flood the week before we arrived, this bridge was several feet underwater, and transportation between the two areas of La Selva was possible only by boat.
