Was this an exercise of equal time for the competition? I try to attend a parade when possible and the main reason is to capture the people who attend. Of course the parade participants are the main subject but I find that the spectators provide the lens with some of the greatest human expresions both facial and body language.
This one is unique. The lensman appears to be enjoying himself while female beside him appears to be bored silly (perhaps some costumes were offending her?) and then the youngster - is he wondering what? fascinating, people are the best subjects when they are unaware of a lens looking at them. Nice jobs on the parade. What manner of genuflection must one go through to have access to the password??
