Ma'alaea Bay and Wind Turbines from Haleakala Volcano

A very expansive view from the crater rim. We did our
whale watching from Ma'alaea Bay. The wind turbines
on the side of the Pu'u Kukui volcano furnish about 10
percent of the electrical energy used on Maui. Those
are clouds above the crater, and not steam or smoke
from the volcano. It is dormant.
