Sunbathing on Coco Cay...A Private Island in the Bahamas

This was our first port of call...and was a change from the
scheduled stop at Labadee, Haiti. That stop was cancelled
due to the political troubles in Haiti, but this was just
as good, since we had already visited Labadee on a previous
cruise, and we had not been to Coco Cay.

Robert, I think you are confusing "private" with "privacy." The island is privately owned by the Royal Caribbean Cruise line. Most of the crowd you see in these pics are near the tender dock, where many of the water activities are located. There are long stretches of beach farther away (see "Beautiful Beach" pic ) that are uninhabited, or have very few sunbathers or swimmers, if you want privacy. A private island? Looks like one of the most crowded, unprivate places I have ever seen.
