Tiger no. 5 can just be seen in the middle of this pic. It is drinking at the edge of a waterhole, and I saw it from the road, along with tourists in about 15 other cars. Drivers kept manoeuvring their cars a few metres forward and back in a competitive spirit to give their passengers the best view - unfortunately making it even more difficult to get a decent photo. On this occasion, in desperation, I broke the rules, leapt out of the car, sprinted across a few metres of dirt to the edge of a ridge overlooking the waterhole, took my photo and sprinted back. This to a disapproving chorus of "Not allowed!" from tourists and guides alike, and (in a heavy Germanic accent) "Do you want to be tiger food?" Actually I was in far more danger from my own driver than from the tiger.
