The Lake is a relatively new hotel, run by Ceylon Hotels Corporation (see their website for more info) and a useful alternative to the better known Polonnaruwa Rest House while it is undergoing renovation.
I stayed at the Lake for one night and enjoyed it. It is right on the lake shore, and my next few photos were taken from its grounds.
