Catherine Gardner
After a number of false starts this youngster took to the sky and did not come back for over an hour.
This guy/gal looks like he/she maybe laughing at us!
Found very high in an evergreen tree.
What are you staring at?
Not your average turkey dinner! Some of at least 30 wild turkeys which surrounded me.
I found myself surrounded by about 30 Wild Turkeys today. This photo was almost full frame.
This Osprey appears to be the youngest and still asks mom to feed him or her. This time mom came back with the biggest fish I have ever seen her with, and after taking a few mouthfuls gave it to this baby to feed itself.
Day 5 Out of Nest
One of the first flights by one of three Osprey babies.
Space in this nest is getting very tight!
These birds really test your patience. For this one I had Mother Nature, luck and patience on my side. I first had to listen to figure out where it might be, then mother nature stepped in with some wind and I just waited for the wind to blow the leaves exposing this Wren. :-)
My first Robin of the year
American Goldfinch (male)
Royal Swan
This Robin is either sick or injured. It has been found in the same location for the past two days and does not fly away when people approach. For now it is still able to get to water and is very good at finding food.
