Not far from here is Romance, Arkansas. Each year the Romance Post Office receives lots of Valentines to be post marked and sent on to sweethearts. I had never been to Romance, so, this being Valentine's Day, I drove there today. I think maybe the background tells the tale, nothing left but the sign, a cemetery, a church and post office.
