I came across some old and I mean old B&W photos that I took while I was in the Army in Germany. Most of the photos were taken with a Minox spy camera. Some were taken with (I think)a Yashica 35mm. I no longer have either camera as they were stolen from my rental car while on my last leave in the South of France.
I have no rhyme or reason for the order of the photos. They are as they come out of the shoe box they have been stored in for 50 years.



Note that I did not do a very good job of alinging the photos on my scanner, that is the reason for some of them being catty whompus.

Jan.2, 2012. I came across another box of Army photos. I have started scanning some of them. Most of these photos I believe were taken with the Minox spy camera,and therefore are not of the greatest quality and sometimes quite grainy.
The Minox was very handy as I always had a camera with me. I was smoking a pipe at that time and could take pictures when people didn't know I was taking pictures of them. I would start puffing on the pipe with the Minox acting a lighter. I was such a sneaky little shit at times.

I am still scanning Army photos and uploading them.
I have managed to contact Dennis (Loco) Bullis. We had an nice conversation on the telephone. If I manage to get up to Washington next summer for the races at Kent we may try and have dinner.
