40's Glamour!
It also coincides with todays Thursday Challenge "My country" The 40's looks so important to the war, everyone so proud of their own country!
I love the look in her face as though waiting for her pilot to come home, so dreamy!

Oh yes, the glamourous 40's when every pilot or soldier or sailor or airman had one of these somewhere--the pin-up girl! Betty Grable was the most famous with her gorgeous legs.
