This is one of a series of images I have taken over the last few weeks, of a group of caterpillars on my oak tree, Ive watched them grown from eggs, from about 22 of them to my final 6!
I dont know what type he is so if any can ID him id be grateful?
But loved his feet hanging on tightly to the leaf!

Looks like a Yellow-necked Caterpillar. About 2" (5 cm) long with long yellow striped on the back. They eat on Oaks, Walnuts, Maples, Elms and a few fruit trees.

Great photo - I was thinking about the wisdom of eating the thing you're hanging onto like this, but I suppose he knows what he's doing!
