I took this image because of the expression on the doe's face. She looks like she's laughing at me. She probably is since she knows where her fawn is and I don't. I had stopped to take a picture of the fawn, but it had vanished by the time I parked the car. This image was taken in Old Forge, New York. The deer are habituated to people there. At one time the people fed them but it's prohibited now. One road had deer jams due to people stopping to photograph and feed the deer. I took this image because she was standing right next to Town Hall. The deer go right downtown, and even stroll into traffic.
