Cardinals "kiss" which is an exchange of food for pair bonding during the breeding season. I was amazed to catch Pine Siskins doing the kiss too. From the images before, I did not see any food in their mouths. I couldn't find any info on Siskins and this behavior. Had they already nested and this was a young one being fed? I wish I knew. While not a great image, the behavior was what was important .
