Blue Coshoh Unfurling

Well, spring sprung very early in upstate NY. We've had unseasonably warm temperatures for March and now, April. We've broken at least three records with temps in the 80s. Yesterday we were at 83 and today we are going to 49 which is seasonable. We are usually still getting snow with an inch or two every so often. Snow flurries are predicted for tonight. The trees and shrubs are leafing out and winter protection should come off. I'm hoping my plants won't get fooled and hurt by further cold temps.
Anyway, I've been changing over from shooting birds to wildflowers. It's been windy ( 15-20mph) for several weeks which has made any kind of shooting difficult. Migration has been weeks early for waterfowl. The wildflowers are weeks early too. It also means I've been very busy out in the yard working in my gardens, so I haven't even had time to put any pictures on pbase even though I've got some new things. It's the busiest time of year. Lots to shoot, but little time to do everything.
