Wow, what a capture. Is that a red-tailed hawk (pretty much the only hawk I know the name of)? Hope the two of them just had a stare-down and left to fight another day. Are these pictures of the same owl -- and how far are you away when you took these? Great photos! (I have a photo by Tom Magelson of a snowy owl on a fence post somewhere out in the plains of Nebraska. I like yours better.)
