I had just crossed the bridge and was headed down the path when I heard my sister yelling "BEAR". I looked up and saw this mother and cub coming down the hill and across my path. I had my bear spray, but they stayed a good distance away. When we did our bus tour, the driver said you will see more bears from the bus than you will when hiking. That turned out not to be true for Bob and me.
