When we hit northern Alberta, I new it was going to be difficult to find open campgrounds this early in the season. I had emailed ahead to make sure Rotary Park at Charley's Lake would be open so I was surprised to arrive and find most of the place flooded. The break-up on the lake caused them a few problems. We still stayed there, with limited facilities, and a freezing cold wind. Ok for us, but a long night for the tent campers. 5 May 2014.
