This site was developed using funds from the Mexico Beach 2000 grant. The site was put down in 2001 and the balls were clustered tightly together. Some are even stacked. Goliath Groupers are frequently spotted here, along with angelfish, butterflyfish, groupers, snappers, blennies, etc... The first time I dived this reef was only 3 days after it was deployed. The transformation over the last 9 years has been amazing to watch. It went from bare concrete balls with a few cigar minnows, to an amazing reef covered in life.
