At the summit it was a foggy morning with a slight rain. Two leafbirds came to the small fig trees at the parking place close to the viewpoint. I was on my way up to look for raptors and had my birds-in-flight gear ready and no tripod. It worked out well handhelding in rather low light thanks to the useable ISO1600 of the 1DmkIII which allows me to upper the shutter. No noise reduction applied at all.

They stayed for a few minutes feasting on the fruits and then moved on. Very charming birds, not just colorful but also got a beautiful and fluity sounds.
