Another magnificent bird dressed in bright yellow. Along with the very similar Black-naped Oriole this is one of my very favorites. apart from the color I like the way the bill continues through the eye into the "nape", creating a single line.

Compared to the Black-naped, the Slender-billed has a thinner bill and also a thinner nape.

This bird was a whole 55 m away. The 400D on the EF 500/f4 + 1.4X converter gives 1120mm of reach! Certainly needed in this case.
