Little wonder of the Rain Forest. This species was earlier split from Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher, but later lumped again, but this lump is disputed so I will keep it a seperate species.

Thanks to Peter Ericsson (www.pbase.com/peterericsson) for telling me about the Black-backed Kingfisher. The most beautiful little bird I've ever seen.
