Kolkata (Calcutta) is the capital of the Indian state of West Bengal. Kolkata along with the suburbs has a population of approx. 15.7 million residents making it the third most populous metropolition area of India. Now shown through my (western) point of view. Due to security restrictions, I was unable to capture some spectucular buildings, scenery and places of interest. Note some images may be very distrubing.
