St. Paul University, Manila - Centennial Countdown 1

2007: The 1st of 5 years until 2012. This year's theme: "In the Sunshine of Our Happy Youth". :-)
This year's hosts, organizers and sponsors are teachers and alumnae from the AB, Education, and Home Economics departments.

Special guest-of-honor is Fr. James B. Reuter, S.J. - my former teacher who is considered an icon and an important figure in Philippine history https://pbase.com/carinoza/st_paul_manila_fr_james_reuter . He was supposed to celebrate the commemorative opening mass for this special
event but his recent long bout with pneumonia had people worried for a while that he might pull a 'Max Soliven' (!) on us ... fortunately
he was strong enough to attend and even stayed for a while after giving an inspirational speech to the participating/sponsoring alumnae.
