GER.Wiesbaden.49b.jpg

Wiesbaden, Germany

"Here lies Antonia Postuma, wife of Titus Porcius Rufianus from the 22nd Legion ....".

This 'Friedhof' or cemetary is part of the Römisches Freilichtmuseum (Roman Open-Air Museum) located near the Römertor (Roman Gateway).
Copies of stone tablets found in Wiesbaden from the Roman era (4th century) can be seen here.
This grave is actually on the site where the original Roman Temple once stood - its outline is preserved and may still be seen today.
