Thursday Texture: Bullet Train

You better dress up warm, up here! Kevlar vest and thermos a must.

Sign directing visitors to the rather redundant and sad looking brick sculpture of the legendary Mallard Steam train outside Darlington.

Reminds me of when i lived in Houston, and most road signs in the not-so-nice neighbourhoods had bullet holes in them. But in good sedate Darlo? Hmmm.

Booo Pbase! Exif data wrooong! Canon Ixus 40, not Powershot!

Canon PowerShot SD300
1/100s f/2.8 at 5.8mm full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Yes, a cupcake is the best weapon...:) I baked and ate six of them, hence the step-up in exercise... :)

Interesting shot and I am glad that I don't like in those neighborhoods of Houston.

Great titling here!

Lots of American rural signs get plugged with bullet holes
or buckshot over their lifetimes.
That's just another one of our American pastimes!
