In spring and early summer this field is chock full of nesting Bobolinks. It is quite a sight and sound to experience.
The land owner and farmer mercifully refrain from haying here until the Bobolinks have finished their business.
This is cattle hay, wrapped for winter storage, though in the fog it may become fodder for a fertile imagination.
