Roadkill Cafe

It was a nice day - so I decided to eat out
Someone found me eating dead porcupine on the side of the road
They were kind enough to give me a ride to the town office
A nice woman pulled quills out of my face and mouth
Then the man and The Lady came to get me
The Lady was not happy. She thought I was asleep inside the house
The vet gave me something to make me throw up
All in all it was a great spring adventure

Baldr~

Note from the man: A nice spring day, an open door, he slipped out and off the deck without anyone noticing.
He knew exactly where he was going and what he was about.
Many thanks to all the good folks going about their day in small town New Hampshire.

That's learning the hard way. Great tale, and image too.

Sounds like the spirit of Tug came down and invaded your body for the day Baldr! You look quite proud of your accomplishment. Tug would be proud.
Glad to see he looks totally fine here.

So proud of his accomplishments! And now he knows where the free meals are. >:o)
(One fine day long ago my Becky and Max were in a porcupine encounter and got their faces and front legs full of quills. There were so many the vet had to put the dogs under to extract them. A few of the quills broke during removal, and weeks later the pointy ends of the broken quills would work their way out of the dogs' snouts. I had to pull them out with tweezers. Good luck.)

A willful child on your hands. He had a sniff and there was semi-fresh Porcupine chopped meat and it had his name on it. All's well that ends well

reassuring that he looks healthy and full of energy after such an adventure...the positive mindset is a must for getting through such experiences...a well crafted shot perfectly sums up the day..
