Shining Rock Spur

The sun was beginning to make its presence felt on what would turn out to be a hot and humid day, even on the peaks where it is normally quite cool in summer.

A very nice scene with the sun shining across the landscape.
Great exposure with the straight on bright scene.
If you need any extra humidity we can send some over to you.
Very nice in the frame.

Wow, what a sun and beautifully lit spur! I agree, it certainly seems to be appropriately named. Excellent capture, Kevin.

A well named place. The rock almost appears to be icy. Interesting that it was also hot up there . I have been to the top of Mount Washington in the middle of August and had to wear a sweatshirt! This is a beautiful photograph Kevin. V

~ Nothing is more beautiful than the loveliness of the woods before sunrise.

The sun dazzling the rock LOOKS hot and the trees appear stressed. The picture is worth the proverbial thousand words.
