Marina Towers

Chicago

Marina Towers was designed to be a city within a city. Built on (and in) the Chicago River using a
special German-formula concrete, they contained parking, shopping and living spaces as well a
marina. Sometimes called the "Corn Cobs", the west building provided WLS-TV (ABC) a nice perch
from which to transmit.
