Thanks for the comment. The photo fits the interpretation well, but there really wasn't any emotional basis to it.

I was just trying to recreate something, but due to a lack of decent lighting, I ended up experimenting with waving a mini maglite across the subject during the exposure. The result is the best of quite a few attempts.

I really think this is a beautiful picture. It seems to have alot of emotion, albeit sad. The tossed flowers, "fading" light, and tattered border all add to the mood. I get the feeling of the end of a relationship or loss of somebody close.

Nice one Ian. I like the lighting on this one. The flowers are still beautiful even after being tossed aside.
