The tragedy
I found this beetle while outside working.
I put it down to go in to do some other stuff.
I came back out and forgot about it, and proceeded to step on it, killing it.
That explains the cracks in the thorax and wing cover.
Figured as long as I had a dead beetle, I would photograph it.
